We may ask you to provide us with Information that will help us to evaluate your potential application for a mortgage loan.
The following documents may be requested to obtain new mortgage loan:
- Past two (2) years W-2
- Pay Stubs covers recent 1 month period
- Recent two (2) monthly bank statements
- Most recent two (2) monthly statements OR one (1) quarterly statements of 401K, IRA, stock or Mutual Fund Accounts (if used toward the transaction)
- Most recent statement of Certificates of Deposits (if used toward the transaction)
- Photocopy of a valid government issued I.D.
Also, the following documentation is also generally required.
For a refinance:
- A copy of the current mortgage statement, homeowner insurance declaration pages, HOA monthly statement (if applicable)
For a Purchase:
- Escrow company contact information
- Realtor contact information
For a VA Loan:

DD Form 214 (Long Form)
- COE (Certificate of Eligibility)
If you are divorced:
If you are self employed, employed in sales, paid by commission, or own rental real estate:
- Two (2) years personal tax returns - including all schedules
- If self-employed through a business, last two years business tax returns
